We are a membership service oriented to enabling website owners to add multimedia content to their websites. We provide storage and tools to manage website SoundBytes for GoingCentral Network Members. Simply join GoingCentral and you will be able to access and use this site. Our service is easy to use and will allow almost anyone to add audio clips to their web pages, emails, and other e-marketing literature. Getting started Getting started is easy, simply click

Once you have signed up as a member with GoingCentral™, you will access this site through your GoingCentral™ members area with a one-click account creation and registration process and one-click login process. After logging in, you will see the main menu which has the following options:
• Select or Change the SoundByte Project to Work on
• Describe Your SoundByte Project
• Upload Your SoundByte
• Get the Code for Your SoundByte
• Logout You will want to follow the steps from the main menu, as shown above, in order. Select or Change the SoundByte Project to Work on Step 1) Select or Change the SoundByte Project to Work. You will be presented with a menu that allows you to select from any of the allowed number of projects you may create based on your membership level with GoingCentral. Your initial menu will have projects titles as '-- not defined yet --'. This indicates a "free slot" or the availability for you to insert/create a new project that you can title. Choose any free slot you like, or any pre-existing project that you have created and press the Select button on the page. You will be returned to an intermediate menu reviewing your selection, and then ultimately to the main menu. Describe Your SoundByte Project There are several options in the SoundByteCentral project manager definition menu for your SoundByteProject. Basically, these are mainly to help you when you return to get code or change the audio stream. After you update the fields in the project profile, the title will show up in the pull down project selection menus to make it easier for you to manage many SoundByte efforts.
The fields you can enter to describe your project include a Project Title, Project Description, Your Name (or a customer or friends name) per project, a contact email for this project, and a soundbyte URL.
The soundbyte URL is a special field that you can optionally fill in now, or wait and let the next main step of Uploading your soundbyte from your computer fill it in. If you have a URL of an audio stream you wish to use somewhere else on the Internet, you may enter the fully qualified URL in this field.
It is recommended that you fully describe your SoundByte project to help you manage your accounts easier. Upload Your SoundByte for the Project The SoundByteCentral Project Manager (the main menu) allows you to Upload an audio stream from your computer to our servers for playback on a "per project" basis. Depending on how many projects you are allowed based on your membership benefits, you may have hundreds of soundbytes to manage. The upload step, uploads directly to the project you select from the first step of the process.
The current media types we allow to upload are: .wav, .avi, .au, .mid, .snd, and there may be others added over time. The upload menu will always display the allowed files to upload.
The preferred file types are: .wav and .mid in general as they will likely result in the best universal presentation across different browser types where with the other file formats, there may be a small percentage of users (~5% or less) that do not have a plugin that supports the file type. So, for best results, stick with .wav and .mid file formats. A note on how to create your soundbyte files for integration into your websites:
We do not provide any software or utilities to record audio. The reason for this is that on almost all common desktop computers, like the one you are likely using, there is already one to many audio recording utilities or other software for the production of .wav or .mid file types using the microphone on your PC. For example, on any Microsoft based operating system for the past several years, there is a utility program in the Accessories->Entertainment->Sound Record selection, that will allow you to record your voice for free, upload it to your project at SoundByteCentral, plug the code into your web page and voila! you have multimedia enabled web pages with your marketing message.
While the audio recording tool that comes with Windows is somewhat limited and we recommend that you buy a better audio recording and production tool, we do not recommend any particular brands as there are so many, and some freeware, to choose from, that it is impossible for us to make an appropriate recommendation.
You can find many audio recording software packages at your local computer store or office supply store. They are quite plentiful and relatively inexpensive.
Now that you have created a SoundByte, uploaded it to your project in our SoundByteCentral project manager, you can generate and get the code to plug into your web pages!
Get the Code for Your SoundByte
After you have uploaded a SoundByte file, you can then get the short fragment of HTML code to insert into your emails, website, or other e-marketing media, that will audio enable your site. You will see several options to choose from with notes describing each. Once you have determined the style or options you want, simply follow the cut and paste instructions on the page or review these simple steps. All you have to do is cut and paste the code fragments into your web pages and reupload your web pages. It is that simple.
Using your keyboard. Select the code in the text area. Ctrl A,
then copy the text to your clipboard Ctrl C. Now open your webpage (html document - could also be php, etc.,) and
paste the code where you want the link to your SoundByte to appear. Ctrl
